It's October; and for the rest of the world, the leaves are changing colors, you can finally break out those new booties you bought in a winter sale last year, and pumpkin spice lattes are flowing through your veins because FALL.
For Kansas City, October means blue, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Our Royal's are in the postseason for the second year in a row, which means around every corner of KC you can see some form of royal logo/flag/mural/etc. celebrating our boys in blue.
I know I speak for several when I say how special this feeling is. Kauffman Stadium quickly turns into a second home and finding new, unique Royal's tees becomes a hobby. (My fiancé and I held hands there for the first time up in the Hy-Vee seats. I know, super precious right? BUT REALLY; I won't ever forget that day). At one point, I joked about moving to the stadium and staying in a sleeping bag for the duration of the post season, but for people that know me... It wouldn't be too far fetched to make it a reality. Truth is, this whole town becomes a united front during the postseason. Don't get me wrong, we are all still very much united during the regular season as well, but there's a reason we've been given the nickname, "Crown Town".
I've been posting a lot of pictures of Kauffman lately on Instagram, and I just wanted to share some photos over this journey the past couple years.
I am beyond thankful that this team, this sport, and this town have become so much apart of my life. I will always be, #ForeverRoyal.
