There is something so magical to me about First Friday's weekend in Kansas City. The West Bottoms are crowded with locals and newbies, food trucks pulling up to line the streets with delicious local goods and pure joy in the air for antique finds.
There's nothing quite like it to me.
And in that same stroke; Bella Patina's third floor holds a special place in my heart. I'm not quite sure if it's the local vendor feel, or the archway of flowers; but it is by far one of my favorite spots to go.
Here are a few shots of my last trip this past weekend!
Getting ready to shop antiques with my Polaroid tee and $5 thrift coat find; really gets me in the spirit! (I'm a nerd. I am fully aware).
These next few images are of Tyler Kingston's beautiful work. Obsessed is an understatement.
Another wonderful artist featured on the third floor is Cable and Company. If you're looking for cool vintage flannels, shirts, jackets and accessories, this is the shop you want to go to!
I wish I knew the name of the awesome wall hangings pictured below, but I do not. All I know is that one says "Took the Crown" and it's my favorite and I want to high five the makers of these wonderful pieces.
*Recently found out these bad boys are made by Allison Mendoza of Buffalo Roam Embroidery! (The intewebs can be so cool! So happy to have made this connection).
The last shots are of Bella Patina's third floor decadence... because it is wonderful and beautiful and I could take photos of it all day. (Emoji heart eyes face is what comes to mind when I see it).
Until next month, Bella.
